Blue Hanoi Inn Hotel

We stayed for a night and had made the reservation last minute. Front desk was helpful and check in/out was easy and smooth. Bathroom was spacious and room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I do recommend double checking with them if you request a King Bed split into two twins!

We stayed at a number of hotels in the same area within a week and Blue Hanoi was the best by far. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities one needs while travelling on holiday. But what makes it stand out are the people - Nancy and Sophia were extremely helpful and organized all our trips even when we were forced to stay elsewhere because Blue Hanoi was fully booked some days.

The bed was hard, pillows not comfortable and a flashing light all night. Other than that, great place, nice and local everywhere is walking distance. The staff were very helpful and nice.

Nothing - there was loud construction work going on from 5.45am behind the hotel, but couldn’t be controlled by hotel itself.

Great location at a quiet ally and about 5-7 minutes walking from the lake. The room is specious with good amenities, and comfortable bed (hard mattress, but I slept on it really well).The hotel staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. There is an elevator which is a plus.

We were on the 8th floor and from our window we saw construction workers from a nearby building, thus needed to close the shade all our staying. The construction starts at the morning around 08:00 a.m. and it can be a little noisy. I recommend to ask the receptionists to get a room on the entrance-side and not on the back side of the building to not be bothered by the construction. Nonetheless this is a minor complaint as it merely bothered us and wasn't that bad or loud.

There was day that there's a construction in the neighborhood that started at 3 am that interrupted our sleep.

+ Nancy, the receptionist, was outstanding — extremely friendly and helpful before, during, and even after the stay+ Very central location in the heart of Hanoi+ Comfortable, well-maintained room+ Excellent Wi-Fi connection+ Bathroom was a nice a full glass wall - On the morning of checkout, I got up early at 4 a.m. to use the bathroom. Although I had turned on the light, my eyes were still only halfway open, and I accidentally walked into the completely transparent glass wall, hitting my face and sustaining a deep cut near my eye that bled heavily.- When I went to the reception for help, the staff member on duty — not Nancy, but a different male employee — responded in a completely unprofessional and inappropriate way. His first reaction was to mention that I might need to pay for the bloodstained towel and bedsheet- Despite my visible injury and request for help, I was offered no real assistance: no first aid materials, no plasters, no medical contact — only after a brief argument did he hand me two small towels, and then he refused to engage any further- The complete lack of support from this one staff member during a health-related emergency seriously undermines the quality of an otherwise excellent hotel experience

Nancy and Sofia were very nice and friendly, the cleaner was exceptionally good, very though....

Overall the stay was good. The room was spacious and had a window with view of tops of buildings. Small hotel with only 2 rooms on each floor which was good.

Photos indicated there was a restaurant which was one of the reasons we chose this accomodation but on arrival we went to check it out to find it was closed and full of furniture so obviously out of action for sometime.

I like the location of the hotel which is very near attractions, restaurants and shopping area.The hotel is cozy and smells good. The bathroom is so clean and the staff attentive. They even agreed to store our luggages when we went to SaPa

The front desk person didn't speak english. I asked her a question about a very touristy thing and she didn't know what I was talking about even with the aid of translation apps. I wanted to pay for my room with a credit card but was notified there would be a 3% surcharge and when I paid in cash, she didn't have change. I was also notifed the night before that tea, water, and coffee is free. When I checked out the next day, I was notified only the small bottles of water were free and the larger ones cost money.The room itself was amazing but was not impressed with the customer service.

The room had windows but there was a construction site at the back of the hotel so there was like a cage around the windows. So no daylight.
